Public offerings are how most young drug developers pay for late-stage trials. When the window closes, as it largely did in 2022 and 2023, programs are shelved and companies merge or fold.
It has reopened this year, cautiously. Investors are favoring companies with mid-stage human data over those with only laboratory results.
| Company | Priced | Raised | Since IPO |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ionwell | January | $310M | +42% |
| Brightwater Oncology | February | $225M | +18% |
| Marrow Peak | March | $190M | -27% |
| Palisade Rx | April | $260M | +6% |
| Quillon Biosciences | May | $410M | +61% |
| Kestrel Ridge | June | $150M | -12% |
| Tessaly Genomics | September | $445M | +9% |
Four further companies are omitted from the table because they listed through mergers rather than conventional offerings.
